What's the difference between an update and an upgrade?
An
update
is a minor version release such as 3.0.1 and 3.1.5. These address bugs and improve software performance and stability and are free for registered customers.
An
upgrade
is a major version release such as 4.0 or 5.0 that has many new features and enhancements. This is not free but registered customers pay a special discounted fee.
